Natthapoj Vincent TrakulphadetkraiFounder and Chairman Vincent received his MSc in Comparative and International Education from the University of Oxford, and is currently completing his PhD in Educational Equality at the University of Cambridge, while starting his second Master's in International Relations at University College London. Vincent earned his BA (Hons) in Primary Education at Brunel University in London, where he graduated with a First Class Honours and a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) qualification. His interests, apart from education, include international development and international relations. |

Sarah WinfieldCo-Vice Chair As a BA, MPhil and now PhD candidate at the Faculty of Education, Cambridge University, Sarah's research interests have always centred on the history of education. Inspired by her experience as a teacher in Britain and Japan, Sarah's current doctoral project explores the origins and development of international education. Sarah also serves as Postgraduate Representative for the History of Education Society (UK). |

Kenichi UdagawaCo-Vice Chair and Director of Visual-Audio Technology (DoVAT) Kenichi recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with BA Hons (Cantab) in Education. He is particularly interested in education policy, curriculum and the philosophy and sociology of education. Beyond this, he enjoys working in film and more broadly the world of technology and the creative opportunities it allows. As Co-Vice Chair, Kenichi works with all other GSEF committee members in a supportive and advisory capacity as well as carrying out special assignments as requested by the Chairman. As the Director of Visual-Audio Technology (DoVAT), he is primarily in charge of editing and uploading videos of all GSEF talks, and assisting his Deputy Director in the filming of GSEF talks, whenever necessary. Kenichi has been serving as the Director of Visual-Audio Technology since Michalemas 2009. |

Amy Lonton-RawsthorneDirector of Europe Centre (DoEC) Amy is currently within her second year studying for an undergraduate degree in Education with English Lit at the University of Cambridge. Her academic interests include Post-Colonial literature, education policy and the role of governments and the NGO sector in ensuring primary education for all. In her spare time, Amy is very involved with the Labour party and the Fabian’s and has volunteered for various charities. Amy is also a keen traveler and tries to combine research into, and voluntary work for, different charities around the world as she travels. She also loves the theatre, photography, and writing poetry. As the Director of GSEF's Europe Centre, she is in charge of ensuring that all the goals set by the Chairman's Office are successfully achieved, be it fund raising or membership expanding targets - effectively overseeing the entire operation of GSEF's Europe Centre. She reports directly to the Chairman's Office. |

Ruth BeddowDirector of Event Management and Publicity (DoEMP) As the Director of Event Management and Publicity, she is in charge of publicising GSEF speaker events within Cambridge University and beyond, as well as promoting the work of GSEF to local, national and international media. Ruth will also lead a group of event coordinators to ensure that all events run smoothly. |

Mitchell ClarkeWebmaster and Deputy Director of Visual-Audio Technology (DDoVAT) Mitchell is currently in his second year studying for a BA in Education with Geography at the University of Cambridge. His academic interests lie around the sociology of education, current education policy and practice, coastal geomorphology and environmental hazards. In his spare time Mitchell enjoys all aspects of theatre production, with his main interest lying in lighting design. As the Deputy Director of Visual-Audio Technology and Webmaster, he is in charge of filming of all GSEF speaker events and updating the website. Mitchell served as an Audio-Visual Technician during Michalemas 2010 and Lent 2011. |

Emma BowellDirector of External Relations and Recruitment (DoERR) Emma Bowell is currently a second year student at Cambridge University, reading Education with English Literature. Her academic interests include Special Educational Needs, the teaching of literacy and curriculum research. Emma also enjoys reading, especially American Literature, playing netball and promoting unsigned music. As Director of External Relations and Recruitment, she is in charge of raising awareness of GSEF among university faculties in the UK and Europe, as well as radically expanding GSEF's global membership base.

Suzie Langdon-ShreeveDirector of On-line Content (DoOC) Suzie is currently in her second year studying for a BA in Education and English at the University of Cambridge. Her academic interests include children’s literature, modern literature and the psychology of education. In her spare time she enjoys writing articles for student newspapers, playing the piano, and singing. As the Director of On-line Content, she is in charge of inviting university students throughout the UK and Europe to contribute to the GESF website Education-related academic articles, opinion pieces, book reviews, and to encourage them to engage in GSEF's on-line discussions and debates on Education theories, policies and practices. |
